Topic:  OSHA Updates

Rob Bonack, will update us on current OSHA activities.  His presentation will touch on the Administration change, 2017 inspection results, fatality statistics, updates/reminders regarding employee rights, penalty adjustments, silica, beryllium, and new walking working surface standard.  He will then highlight the current FY2018 national emphasis and local emphasis programs for employers in Wisconsin as well as provide available resources to help employers.  He will also be willing to address any questions section members may have.

Speaker: Rob Bonack.  Rob has served as the Area Director in the Appleton, WI OSHA Area Office since July, 2013.  Prior to coming to Appleton he served as the Area Director in Lansing, MI and has held positions in the Chicago OSHA Regional Office as the Audit and Analysis Supervisor, Regional Safety and Health Program Manager, and Safety and Health Program Analyst.  Prior to working in the Regional Office Rob served as a Compliance Safety and Health Officer in the Peoria, IL OSHA Area Office.

Directions: Take I-94 and exit on Hwy. 83S (Exit 287) in Delafield. Go 2 blocks south of interchange and turn left on Hillside Drive.  Follow Hillside for 1 mile, going past the theater and Home Depot.  Brewhaus is at the top of the hill on the right.
